Scenic Caves Nature Adventures offers a ton of great activities to keep your winter ‘blues’ away.
This beautiful winter playground lies atop the mountain nestled in 370 unspoiled acres of the Niagara Escarpment. With a 27km trail network for cross country ski or 12km of hike/snowshoe trails, any level of outdoor ‘adventurer’ will find the perfect activity.
New to skiing? No problem! A lesson with the pros will help build confidence and skills on any trail. Lessons will cover basics, trail etiquette, fall safety/getting up and down safely and much more! Lessons are available for individuals or groups of 2, last approximately 1 hour and are taught by accredited cross country ski instructors.
Day trail passes are available Monday through Sunday until 3:30pm.
Covered in beautiful fluffy snow, the only way to access Ontario’s longest suspension bridge is by snowshoe. What better way to enjoy a unique and adventurous experience! With 360 degree views and 420 feet of suspension, on a clear day you can see up to 10,000 square kilometres across the Escarpment and the breathtaking Georgian Bay. Access to the bridge is granted with your general admission rate.
Need to burn off some energy in the little ones? With two play areas designed for ages 2-5 and 5-12, you can take a load off while the youngsters play. Testing their strength and stamina, kids can scale the geometric structures using ropes and walking the mini-suspension bridge.
