According to Statistics Canada, 97.7% of businesses in Ontario are small companies with 99 employees or less. This means that small local employers are the lifeblood of our region and the main contributors to our communities. Despite this level of importance, the pandemic puts these businesses at disproportionate risk as they often lack the resources or flexibility to cope with the rapidly evolving markets we are all forced to contend with.

Lifestyles North understands that strong local business translates into a healthy real estate market. The Southern Georgian Bay area is a premier destination for people to move to as they leave the city in search of a more relaxed, but active lifestyle. Because of this, we have started a new series of promotions distributing gift cards for local businesses through social media.
These promotions have two purposes. The first is to introduce our clients and friends to many of the local business gems that may not be immediately visible to them. There are a wealth of excellent restaurants and shops out there just waiting to be discovered featuring products and services of unparalleled quality! Second, by helping grow the local companies it helps the economy of your home town. Growth and diversity will strengthen our communities and make them that much more vibrant and most importantly, sustainable.
You Can Help Too
Lifestyles North encourages everyone to support their community’s businesses but you can also do more by participating in our fun, regular gift card draws. Once a month we purchase a number of gift cards from local businesses and hold draws on social media. Entry is easy and fun and usually all you have to do is visit and like the company on Facebook or Instagram. This allows you to become familiar with some incredible local companies that you might not know about otherwise.
