Saturday June 23rd was certainly a night to remember at the 16th Annual Furball Gala hosted by the Georgian Triangle Humane Society. The Lifestyles North team was absolutely thrilled not only to attend the magical event, but also to participate as one of the event’s leading sponsors! With the help of our amazing and supportive community including local buisnesses, donors, and community members, over 70,000 was raised for the animals in need at the Georgian Triangle Humane Society.
Our team had an amazing and memorable night at the Gala, as we do every year! Some highlights of the evening included; a spectacular display of live/silent auction items, an inspiring speech by Sonya Reichel that moved the entire audience, a special Wall of Wine Raffle, mouth watering food by Men with Knives, and live entertainment by Switchbeat band!
If it wasn’t for the amazing community we live in, the great success of this event would have not have been possible! Our team is beyond grateful to be running out of one of the most beautiful places in Canada, with such a close knit and supportive community that consistently does their absolute best to support local businesses and families. As beautifully stated by Abigal Krogman, Fundraising Coordinator, “We feel so incredibly thankful to our community for their outpouring of love and generosity. The Gala was an amazing event and we could not have done it without everyone’s passion and commitment to the work that we do.”
